| About M.U.S.I.C. The Midwestern United States Imperial Club, known as M.U.S.I.C. opened in July of 1978 as the first swing dance club in Illinois. Music is a non-profit organization. We offer a wide range of dance instructions, special events and social interaction amoung members. Although its members maintain swing timing as a basis for their dancing, M.U.S.I.C. firmly believes swing did not come to a standstill in a particular year, with a particular style, but undergoes continual evolution. We are dedicated to promoting swing dancing and encourage young and old alike to come experience the joy in "dancing". No partner required. Nominal admission allows you to come early for 1 hour of free dance lessons with our experienced teachers. We have a full bar The kitchen provides plate specials for every dance. We meet at 1234 Vandalia Sreet, (aka IL 159) Collinsvile, IL 62234 the VFW Hall . The VFW has a wonderful large wooden dance floor to enjoy, it is one of the best in the area. M.U.S.I.C. is the largest swing dance clubs in the metro east area. We meet the 2nd & 4th Sunday of each month. |
